I've always been a mermaid in my heart.  Now, it's time to actually become one.  I've got my plans to make a basic, yet very pretty tail.  Execution is another thing.  I've been checking out on-line videos (lotsa YouTube) and tutorials.  Came across www.mernetwork.com. Yeah, I'm still doing henna, facepainting, origami, jewelry and all that.  I just want to have a different kind of fun.  But first, I probably need to clean my room.

I'm not quite sure when I disappeared from DA or why.  Honestly, I don't know that I'll be back on in any sort of regular/predictable manner.  I just wanted to hop on, "Watch" somebody and move on.  DA can be kinda like facebook in that one can spend way too much time on it.  That can be a problem when time is so valuable and there's only so much of it to go around. I've been more active, artistically-wise on facebook (www.facebook.com/hennacelebrations).  I've turned henna and temporary body art into a business.  I'm also doing more jewelry and origami.  I've been working festivals, carnivals, medieval reinactments, and arts and crafts fair

Do you ever lose sleep because you just want to create, create, create? Time to dust off the old ball-jointed-doll project.  I can't remember what breathed life back into that, but here it is again.  Oh, doll magazines.  And growing out of store-bought Barbies.  That's it.   So, I've been thinking about range of motion and the jointing system.  My first doll will probably be fairly simple and then I'll go from there.  I just want to hold something in my hands that is mine. Henna and origami are also on the agenda.  It's been awhile since I've drawn on myself.  I like the dark henna paste and the sparkly glitter goop I seal it with.  Rememb
